Day 23: Engaging with Your Readers

Welcome to Day 23 of our 30-day journey through Purpose Driven Legacy. Today, we will explore the importance of engaging with my readers and building a community around the message. As Christians, we are called to connect with others, share our faith, and encourage one another. Engaging with you allows me to foster meaningful relationships and create a supportive community.

Biblical Foundation for Community and Connection

The Bible emphasizes the importance of community and building each other up. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” (KJV). Engaging with your readers is an extension of this biblical principle, providing a platform for mutual encouragement and growth.

Why Engaging with You Matters

  1. Encourages Spiritual Growth: Engaging with you creates opportunities for spiritual growth. By sharing insights, experiences, and encouragement, you help others deepen their faith. Proverbs 27:17 states, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend” (KJV).
  2. Builds a Supportive Community: A community of readers can provide support, accountability, and encouragement. Galatians 6:2 reminds us, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” (KJV). Building a community allows members to share their struggles and victories, fostering a sense of belonging and support.
  3. Spreads the Message: Engaging with readers helps spread the message of the book and its underlying principles. Matthew 5:14-16 says, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (KJV). By engaging with others, you can extend the reach of your message and inspire more people.

Ways to Engage

  1. Host Discussions and Q&A Sessions

I want to create opportunities for you to engage in discussions and ask questions about the book. This can be done through online forums, social media, or live events. 1 Peter 3:15 encourages us, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (KJV).

  1. Share Personal Stories and Testimonies

I want to share my own experiences and testimonies related to the themes of the book to create transparency that fosters connection and show how the principles in my book have impacted my life. Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” (KJV).

  1. Encourage Reader Contributions

I want to invite readers to share their stories, insights, and feedback because I valued you and want to enrich the community with diverse perspectives. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, “Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established” (KJV).

  1. Newsletters and Blog

I commit to regularly update my readers with a newsletter and blog that includes additional insights, reflections, and resources. To keep you engaged and provide ongoing encouragement. Philippians 4:8 encourages us, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (KJV).

  1. I am praying for my readers

I Commit to pray for you and for your spiritual journey. I want you to know that I am lifting you up in prayer, in order to provide comfort and encouragement. James 5:16 says, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (KJV).

My humble goal is to building a lasting community

I want to engage with you, my readers, to create a community that extends beyond the pages of my books. This community can be a source of encouragement, support, and spiritual growth for all involved. Let us strive to build connections that reflect Christ’s love and foster a deeper understanding of our faith.
