In Mark 2:1-12, we read the story of a paralytic man and his friends who went to great lengths to bring him to Jesus. Unable to reach Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof and lowered the man down.

Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven” (Mark 2:5). He then healed the man, demonstrating His authority to forgive sins and heal.

Key Themes:

  • Faith: The friends’ faith led to the healing and forgiveness of the paralytic.
  • Community: The importance of supporting and bringing others to Jesus.

Reflection Questions:

  1. How can you demonstrate faith in action in your life?
  2. Who in your life needs your support to bring them closer to Jesus?

Tomorrow, we will discuss Jesus’ inclusivity and His interactions with the marginalized.

Bless you,

Dustin Royer
